Linda Dorn is a Professor of Reading Education at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock where she coordinates the Educational Specialist, Doctoral, and Graduate Certificate in Reading programs. She is the founder and lead trainer for the Partnerships in Comprehensive Literacy Model and the Comprehensive Intervention Model. Linda will be presenting a Literacy Luncheon on Thursday.
Timothy N. Odegard is a Cognitive Psychologist with expertise in learning and memory. His postdoctoral work included clinical training in multisensory instruction for individuals with dyslexia. He will address "An Overview of Developmental Dyslexia and Specific Reading Disability."
Meet Brenda Overturf--a teacher, writer, and speaker who is a staunch believer in the power of words. Brenda combines research and practice to implement strategic, intentional vocabulary instruction designed to increase student learning. And Brenda is sure vocabulary development should be fun!
